1. Eligibility

TRACA is open to creators worldwide, regardless of nationality, region, age, or experience. There is no restriction on production year, and works already released online are eligible. Individuals, teams, and studios are all welcome to submit.

2. Video & Audio Specifications

• Aspect ratio: horizontal 16:9 or vertical 9:16.
• Resolution: minimum 1920×1080 for horizontal, minimum 1080×1920 for vertical recommended.
• File format: MP4 or MOV (H.264 codec recommended).
• Audio: stereo. Dialogue must be clearly audible, with no excessive noise.
• Entries are accepted only via FilmFreeway online screeners (upload or streaming link).

3. Language & Subtitles

Works with Korean or English dialogue may be submitted as they are. Works in any other language must include English subtitles; the entrant is responsible for any disadvantage in judging that results from missing subtitles.

4. Submission & Multiple Entries

Entries are accepted through FilmFreeway only. There is no limit to the number of works you may submit, and a single work may be entered in multiple categories for which it qualifies. However, each category entry must be submitted separately and requires its own entry fee.

5. Entry Fees & Refunds

Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of the judging outcome. No refund will be issued in the event of voluntary withdrawal, or for entrant-caused issues such as selecting the wrong category, missing materials, an inaccessible screener, subtitle problems, or failure to meet specifications. TRACA bears no financial responsibility for any costs arising from production, submission, translation, subtitling, or file preparation.

6. Prize Payment

• Any taxes and public dues levied on a prize are the responsibility of the recipient and will be withheld at source before payment.
• Prizes are paid only to an account held in the recipient's own name, within the period designated after the winners are announced; the account cannot be changed to one under another person's name.
• If a team (joint) entry wins, the prize is paid in full to a single representative, and the organizers take no part in how the prize is divided within the team.
• If the same individual (or the same team) is selected for more than one of the cash-prize top honors (Grand Prize, Best of TRACA, Excellence Award), only the highest-ranking award is paid.

7. Rights Warranty & Liability

The entrant warrants that they own or have obtained proper authorization for every element contained in the work — including video, music, sound, voice, script, performances, trademarks, copyrighted material, and all AI-generated or AI-assisted elements. Music videos in particular may only be submitted with secured rights to the track used. All legal claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from a submitted work rest solely with the entrant, who shall indemnify and hold TRACA and its organizers harmless from them. TRACA assumes no responsibility for the copyright, ownership, licensing, or rights status of any submitted work.

8. Screening & Promotional License

By submitting, the entrant grants TRACA and its organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Screen or exhibit all or part of the work in the festival and related programs (offline screenings, online screenings and streaming, special screenings, archival screenings, and other non-commercial purposes).
• Use, reproduce, and edit the work's title, synopsis, director information, still images, poster, trailer, and excerpts (of a length determined by the organizers, without limitation) across all media, including the official website, FilmFreeway, social media, press releases, and program materials, for the purpose of promoting the festival.
• Feature and publish award-winning and official selection works on TRACA's official channels and partner platforms.

The entrant agrees that no screening fee, license fee, rental fee, or other compensation is payable for the above. Copyright remains with the entrant, and this license does not restrict the entrant's right to distribute or use the work elsewhere.

9. Judging & Discretion

All selection and award decisions are final and not subject to appeal. Works are judged on artistic accomplishment, technical accomplishment, creativity, originality, storytelling, and meaningful use of AI. TRACA reserves the right to decline the selection or screening of any work that does not align with the festival's vision, standards, or values.

10. Changes to Terms

TRACA may revise or amend these rules and terms as operational needs require, and submission constitutes agreement to the terms in full, including any changes. Entrants are responsible for reviewing the latest version of the terms before submitting.
